Just like teas, there are many different types of tea pots. There is cast iron, like the one we used in Ireland, bone china, ceramic, porcelain, glass, and Yixing. Tea Pots are not to be confused with tea kettles. Kettles are for heating the water. Tea pots are for steeping your wonderful tea.
Cast Iron Teapots
